How is life insurance paid out?

Once covered, the first thing you'll want to do is set up one or more beneficiaries. That way, if you pass and a claim's made, our Wysh Granters will know who to work with to help fulfill your Wyshes.

There are a few ways we do this:

  1. If you have a Wysh (usually a debt) with a recipient that we can work directly with, then we can make payments directly to the Wysh recipient with the blessing of your beneficiary.
  2. For other Wyshes, we can help your beneficiary fulfill them for you by supplying them with the needed details. We'll also connect them to our Wysh partners (as appropriate) and send them the death benefit associated with the Wysh (like Pet Care, Plant Care or Sending your Ashes to Space!)
  3. If your beneficiary would rather just receive their full death benefit, we would make sure they got it as soon as possible.

If you have more than one beneficiary, once a claim is made our Wysh Granters will reach out to each of them to get them their allocation as smoothly as possible.
