In the event that a policyholder misses a payment, they will be notified of failed payment via email. After the due date, three consecutive daily attempts to collect payments will occur until the premium was successfully paid. During this window, we advise to prepare your payment method to have a monthly premium drafted as soon as possible.
If your payment fails and you end up in a past due state, you will have the opportunity to login to your account (via website or app) and update and/or retry your payment method. If a premium is over 31 days, a customer’s policy will lapse if not taken care of.
